Description

  • Oscar Heyman & Brothers
Composed of a hinged clip of buckle design set with 46 round and 8 French-cut diamonds weighing approximately 2.35 carats, within borders of calibré-cut rubies, mounted in platinum, made by Oscar Heyman & Bros., within a detachable polished gold jacket of shield shape and ray design.

Condition

The diamonds are approximately H-I color and VVS-VS clarity. The rubies are a medium deep color and are well matched. Not signed, but with Oscar Heyman o___o___ code along rim of platinum brooch. Also stamped with partial patent number Pat. 3.34 on the inside fold of the clip mechanism. The frame shows some discoloration to the gold, but is in good condition overall. Not signed, and presumed made at a later date than ruby and diamond brooch.
