Description

Designed as a Greek cross centring on a cushion-shaped purplish pink sapphire weighing 3.67 carats set with similarly cut stones to the cardinal points and pendant bail, accented with cushion-shaped and rose-cut diamonds, signed Sobolewski a Paris, pendant bail detachable, accompanied by a detachable pin fitting.

Condition

Accompanied by a report from The Gem Testing Laboratory of Great Britain, no. 0128261, stating that the purplish pink sapphire weighing 3.67 carats is natural with no evidence of heat treatment and originates from Burma. Estimated total diamond weight approximately 0.70-1.10 carats, bright and lively stones. Pink sapphires of purplish pink bodycolour, moderate to strong saturation of colour. Typical inclusions under x10 magnification. Minor abrasions to surface facets. Evidence of tarnishing and minor scratches to polished surfaces. In very good condition.
