Condition

Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is deeper and richer, with the red elements tending more to a darker brick red and the yellow triangle at the base more to mustard yellow in the original. The catalogue illustration fails to fully convey the three dimensionality and movement of elements apparent in the original. Condition: This work is in good condition. There are a number of fine surface abrasions, small media losses and rub marks to the red hanging elements and to the yellow triangle of the base, most notably to the extreme edges of these parts and to the apex of the yellow triangle. There are a few fine hairline cracks to the extreme edges of the yellow triangle and some rubbing and wearing to the edges of the flat metal base part. There is some light surface dirt throughout and the work would benefit from a light professional surface clean. There are a few loose fibres adhering to the top of the yellow triangle.
