Condition

Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is softer in the original, with a slight reddish-brown patina showing through, in particular to the recessed areas. The catalogue illustration fails to fully convey the three-dimensionality of the original. Condition: This work is in very good condition. There are a number of scattered very fine unobtrusive surface scratches. There are two light abrasions to the bottom edge at the reverse; one to the right of the centre and a fine vertical rub mark approximately 30 cm. left of centre. Some dust fibres have adhered to the work's surface and gathered in the recessed areas.
