Condition

Pile ranges from approximately 1/6 of an inch to low to knotheads and spot foundation. Partially oxidized browns. Scattered foldwear. Some minor scattered moth damage, with the larges damages area being approximately 1 inch by 1/2 inch in upper region of field. Spot foundation, warps and wefts exposed in areas of moth damage and foldwear. Four horizontal repaired slits running from each side towards the center of rug, the largest being approximately 3 feet long. Ends complete with original flatwoven finishes. Sides original with losses to selvages. Two approximately 1 inch by 1 inch nicks out of left side selvage and two approximately 1 inch by 1 inch nicks out of right side selvage. Further abrasions, fraying and minor losses to selvages. Supple handle, sound fabric and condition, will enhance with minor restoration.
