sejan, the bird with wide spread wings and abstract head with diamond shaped beak, with two diminutive bird figures attached on top of the wings; fine blackened patina.

Condition

good condition overall; ancient repair to tail which was broken off and attached with three metal pegs; neck and feet broken and reattached; front of both wings show step covered with patina which could mean that the bases of each wing consists of two pieces of wood which were assembled and then carved; diminutive bird figures originally possibly on metal rods which were later replaces by wooden stands; minor chips, nicks and scratches from traditional use; fine blackened patina
