Condition

Overall in very good condition. The glass panels on the interior of the shade and base are all in very good condition. Each glass panel with numerous small air bubble inclusions and minor surface imperfections inherent in the making. The scenic figural panels encircling the copper shade with several copper elements throughout that are bent slightly out of line, and with a few minor breaks to the copper elements throughout. One panel missing a small windmill (above the row of trees) which broke off in the past. The copper surfaces throughout on the base and shade with light surface scratches and gentle rubbing to the patina. The base with scattered areas of discoloration and oxidation and with two very shallow dings along the bottom edge of the base (the larger 1" long). Two of the brackets supporting the glass panels on the interior of the shade are missing and two of these glass brackets are also missing on the interior of the base (one glass panel on the interior of the base has been glued for reinforcement). The shade currently sits slightly askew in the riser and would benefit from adjustment. Lamp has been re-wired. A very nice example of this rare Limbert lamp model.
