Condition

The following condition report was kindly provided by Simon Parkes Art Conservation, Inc.: This painting is in lovely and fresh condition. The canvas is not lined, and although it is slightly wavy, this can be corrected without lining. The paint layer is quite dirty and should respond very well to cleaning. On the reverse there are a couple of very small paper reinforcements in the center that correspond to some restoration in the model's right knee; otherwise, the picture is in very good condition.
