Condition
The following condition report was kindly provided by Simon Parkes Art Conservation, Inc.:
This picture is in lovely condition. It is painted on a single piece of unreinforced mahogany. There is a small restoration situated above and to the right of the signature on the edge of the panel. In the figure's chest and in both cheeks there are some small restorations. There is some strengthening in the red on the fan addressing a few cracks, yet other than this there appear to be no other retouches. Overall the picture is in lovely state and should be hung as is.
