The paint surface is in good clean condition.
ULTRAVIOLET:
UV light reveals one small spot of retouching to the wooden beam off the top edge.
FRAME:
Held in a plaster gilt frame in fair condition.
COLOUR COMPARISON:
The colours are darker and richer than the illustration suggests.
