in neoclassical taste, square with canted corners, the surface enamelled in translucent pearl white over wavy engine-turning within bright-cut border mounts, the top applied with conjoined ribbon-tied green gold palm sprays centring the cabochon sapphire push piece, the sides with laurel festoons, bun feet, struck with workmaster's initials and Fabergé in Cyrillic, 56 standard

Condition

Overall good condition. The wood underside with chips, one screw lacking, and underside mounts slightly bent in places. One side panel appears to have been re-enamelled or restored above the swag.
