  • Two autograph letters signed ("Robert" and "R. Schumann")
1) to Ferdinand David, enclosing with the letter the score of some quartets [not included here] which he has long promised him, asking him, when he sees them, to remember all their shared joys and sorrows, 1 page, 8vo, autograph address panel, Dresden, 24 December 1848, tear, slight affecting text and address panel in one place



2) to his brother Carl Schumann, discussing his travels and other matters, 1 page, 8vo, integral autograph address-panel, later pencil annotation, Teplitz, 19 August 1842 [?], seal tear, light creasing
