Condition

Examination under ultraviolet light reveals a few general retouching in the background of painting. There are small spots of retouching on the following areas; on the 'mosquito net', on the sitting mat, on the outside of the right cheek of young lady and below the signature. All retouching is only visible under examination under ultraviolet light. The colour of grey is less reddish; more muted. Also, the skin tone of ladies is less red in reality.
