Description

The sugarloaf coral measuring 12.0 by 12.0 mm., flanked by 6 old European-cut diamonds, entirely framed by black enamel, mounted in gold and platinum, size 5, signed Cartier NY.

Provenance

The Important Jewelry Collection of Madame Ganna Walska, Parke-Bernet Galleries New York, April 1, 1971, lot 110.

Condition

Significant damage to the enamel, and an area of expertly repaired coral at one corner of the sugarloaf. Hard to detect with the naked eye. The diamonds are of decorative quality. Singed Cartier N.Y.
