Description
One brooch designed as an eglantine, its petals decorated with blue guilloché enamel, highlighted to the centre with brilliant-cut diamonds, the stem and leaves set with baguette and brilliant-cut stones, mounted in platinum and yellow gold; accompanied by a brooch claw-set to the centre with an oval citrine, between shoulders millegrain-set with circular- and single-cut diamonds.
Condition
Eglantine brooch: stamped PT 950 for platinum. Total diamond weight approximately 2.70 - 3.00 carats, I-J colour, SI-I clarity. Some very small losses of enamel to petal edges. Safety catch to pin fitting. In good condition. Citrine brooch: unidentified metal alloy, the citrine measures approximately 26.0 x 19.9 x 10.4mm, gauged to weigh approximately 29.00 - 32.00 carats, a nice orangy yellowish brown colour, clean to the naked eye, some inclusions noticeable with a loupe. Total diamond weight approximately 1.00 -1.20 carats, bright, lively stones. Some discolouration and scratches to mount to reverse not visible when worn. Rotating safety catch. In good condition.
