Description
A necklace decorated to the front with three gem-set elephants with single-cut diamond eyes, length approximately 370mm, signed VCA and numbered, French assay marks; a leopard brooch highlighted with brilliant-cut diamonds; a monkey pendant; an elephant pendant; a bear pendant; and others; partly illustrated (11).
Condition
Elephant necklace stamped with French assay marks for 18 carat gold. Signed VCA and numbered B4042I104.
The mouse pendant and medal with Asian signs are stamped 916 for 22 carat gold.
The rabbit statuette is made of base metal. All the other items are stamped 750 for 18 carat gold.
Actual size of the items slightly larger than in the catalogue, full length of the monkey pendant for example 93mm.
The unillustrated items: a small gem set tortoise pendant on a fancy link chain, a banjo player brooch, a miniature rabbit, an enamelled Calimero pendant, a mouse head pendant and a medal pendant depicting a monkey with Asian characters on the reverse.
