Description

Mounted en tremblant, the wings of green and blue plique-à-jour enamel edged in rose-cut diamonds, the body decorated with old-mine diamonds and apple green translucent enamel, the eyes set with 2 pinkish-gray pearls, mounted in gold and silver, maker's mark GA for Georges Auger, assay marks.

Condition

Overall condition is very good. The middle top center Old-mine-cut diamond is of slightly yellow hue, and the diamond at the top a sort of greenish-blue hue (perhaps due to tarnish underneath), all others are bright and near colorless. The pinstem is stamped with the maker's mark G A for Georges Auger, and French assay mark.
