Description

The pendant composed of an emerald cameo carved in Roman Imperial style with the portrait of a bearded man, circa 1875, within a black enamel bezel and a frame of old-mine diamonds weighing approximately 3.25 carats, mounted in gold and silver, supported on a flexible, tapering necklace set with numerous old-mine and rose-cut diamonds weighing approximately 6.90 carats, mounted in gold and silver, length 15 inches, one segment detaches to shorten. 

Condition

Some enamel loss to bezel around cameo. Extension segment measures about 2½ inches. The diamonds are approximately I-K color and SI-I clarity. Silver parts are heavily tarnished, but the piece is in good condition overall.
