Description
Comprising a pendant, a brooch and a pair of pendant-earrings, the carbuncles decorated with old-mine and rose-cut diamond stars, bordered by split pearls and supporting chain fringes, the pendant and brooch reversing to glazed compartments. Together with a gold hinged bangle-bracelet set with round cabochon garnets. With fitted leather case for the parure.
Condition
The bangle bracelet is set all around with garnets, it is not part of the suite but is of the same date. Scratching and minor denting to the piece, with small spots of discoloration. Fitted with a safety chain, 6 1/4 inches interior circumference. The remaining 4 pieces are ensuite. One earring is tarnished, as well as the pendant bail on the pendant and the fringe on the brooch. Both the pendant and the brooch have a glazed compartment on the back. The rose-cut diamonds are of decorative quality and the seed pearls range in size from 2.0 to 2.6 mm, with medium luster. Requisite scratching and wear to all pieces, but in good condition overall.
