Description

Designed as a graduated series of open work articulated panels of stylised Greek key and foliate scrolls, surmounted by five graduated stylised fan palm sprays, set with cushion-shaped, circular- and rose-cut diamonds, inner diameter approximately 210mm

Condition

Mounted in silver and gold. Estimated total diamond weight approximately 42.0 - 44.0 carats, of mixed colours and clarities. The principal stones each weighing approximately: 6.00 carats, estimated colour I, estimated clarity SI1, small nicks to girdle edge, moderately strong fluorescence; 2.67 carats, estimated colour J, estimated clarity I1, natural on the girdle, no fluorescence; 1.98 carats, estimated colour H/I, estimated clarity VS2, several nicks and chips to girdle edge, medium fluorescence; 1.95 carats, estimated colour J, estimated clarity VS2, small chips to girdle edge, no fluorescence; 1.90 carats, estimated colour H/I, estimated clarity VS2, several nicks and chips to girdle edge, medium fluorescence. Each fan palm spray detaches from the hinged bandeau. Later fittings supporting the sprays to reverse. Silver tarnished, frame with indentations and scratches consistent with age and wear. In very good condition.
