Vizagapatam, late 18th century

profusely inlaid inside and out with engraved ivory foliate ornament, the hinged top opening to reveal a fitted interior with rectangular dressing mirror surrounded by six lidded and four open compartments, the sides with brass carrying handles, the front with a long fitted drawer, standing on shaped bracket feet
