  • 102cm. high, 56cm. wide, 38cm. deep; 3ft. 4in., 1ft. 10in., 1ft. 2¾in.
with a domed top above a triangular pediment above a pair of trompe l'oeil doors flanked by pilasters, the sides with a demi-rotunda above a scroll boss bearing the coat-of-arms of Strozzi of Florence, the whole inlaid with various marbles including verde antico and brèche violette, on a white marble ground; replacements

Condition

Colours overall slightly paler and more natural than in the catalogue photograph. There are some losses and repairs particularly to the base and to the pediments. There are minor chips and cracks to the marble throughout as visible in the catalogue photograph. The back, both on the lid and the main body, is unfinished and open. Decorative and in otherwise good condition.
