Condition

Overall in excellent original condition. The handlebars with evidence of age with scratches, nicks, pitting, surface dirt and areas of corrosion. The red rubber ends with scratches and wear. The wooden base of the table with only very minor scratches, chips to edges, minute white paint flecks and minor areas of discoloration. The underside of the base with scratches and surface dirt as expected. The glass top is in excellent condition with only minute scratches. A very early work in excellent condition.

Catalogue Note

Made of Italian racing bike handlebars and simple materials, this table was the first production piece designed by Jasper Morrison and was completed shortly after the conclusion of his studies at the Kingston Polytechnic Design School in London.
