Description

Designed as an articulated row of circular-cut diamonds within box settings, suspending at the front a graduated fringe of pendants of foliate motifs highlighted with rose-cut diamonds, each terminating in a larger circular-cut diamond, length approximately 415mm, maker's marks, French assay marks, the front fringe detaches from the single back row, which further separates into three pieces to allow a shorter length; accompanied by a tiara frame, a frame for a collier de chien and the corresponding tool and three screws, fitted case by Maison Ancely/Louis Girard Succ., Toulouse, monogrammed to the cover with A.S.E standing for Andoque /Saint-Exupery.

Condition

Stamped with French assay marks for 18 carat gold to three out of four clasps. Estimated total diamond weight 20.0 - 25.0 carats, mixed colours and clarities. Principal diamond spreads at approximately 1.0 carat, estimated colour J/K, estimated clarity I. See crib for further details on weights. Very well articulated necklace. Secure clasps throughout. Second necklace fitting, tiara fitting and tools in a fitted compartment at base of case. Tooled leather case in very good condition, some small losses to leather, a little damage to interior. In very good condition.
