Description

Designed as five graduated oval shell cameos depicting the profiles of Diana and Bacchantes, encased within textured bead and scroll work frames, length approximately 178mm, fitted case.

Condition

Overall very good condition, shell cameos with crisp carving, each with scratched number 1 to 5 to reverse, one cameo with some very fine stress cracks to shell, not surface reaching, gold mount with some tarnish commensurate with age. Case in good condition, slight scuffing to the corners and wear to velvet interior.
