36.5-cm dial, engraved chapter ring with Roman numerals signed Jan Hermelink  Amsterdam, foliate pierced blued hands and subsidiary seconds, aperture for date and day, moonphase in the painted landscape below showing a Dutch town with a fisherman automaton, a mill and a clock tower all connected to the anchor movement with trip repeating rack Dutch quarter striking on two alternating bells, burr walnut case with shaped top surmounted by a giltwood atlas and two angels, shaped cornice with carved ornament and pierced frets above and below, break arch glazed door with brass capped columns, canted trunk with long shaped door inlaid with flowers, de bombed base with similar inlay raised on claw feet
