36-cm dial, engraved silver chapter ring with Roman numerals signed Willem Jan Bramer, foliate pierced hands, engraved alarm disc and subsidiary seconds, apertures for date and moonphase, painted scene below showing a garden with noble figures, anchor movement with trip repeating rack Dutch quarter striking on alternating bells, alarm on the large bell, burr walnut veneered case with bell top surmounted by Mercury and two angels, shaped moulded cornice with carved ornament and pierced frets above and below, break arch glazed door with brass capped columns, canted trunk, long shaped door with chequered inlaid banding and Chronos lenticle, similar inlaid bombed base rased on claw feet
