Description

  • a champlevé enamel and gilt copper cross
the corpus with glass bead eyes and traces of gilding, on later wood stand  

Condition

Enamel loss to the cross as visible in the catalogue photograph. Two old fixing holes have been filled on the horizontal section of the croos at top left and bottom right. The corpus has traces of gilding in particular to the neck. Glass bead eyes are less pronounced than normal and appear to have sunk.Overall condition consistent with age.
