Description

  • A Roman Silver Commemorative Bracelet
  • Width 2 7/8 in. 7.3 cm.
of solid oval section flattened on the inside, the tapering arms each wound in a spiral around the opposite arm, the two circular bezels each containing a repoussé gold foil medallion, one probably representing the empress Julia Domna or Plautilla, the other Caracalla or Geta.
