Condition

Colours: The colours are fairly accurate in the catalogue illustration, although the overall tonality is brighter and more vibrant in the original. Condition: This work is in very good condition. There is an extremely faint media accretion towards the centre left of the upper left hand quadrant, just below the green paint spot. There is a light handling mark towards the bottom right hand corner. There are very light rub marks to all four corner edges and in places along the left and right extreme edges. There is a further very light rub mark to the white paint towards the bottom right hand corner. There are two very small dents to the bottom edge towards the right corner due to an irregularity in the stretcher beneath. No restoration is apparent when examined under ultraviolet light.
