Condition

Colours: The colours are fairly accurate in the catalogue illustration, although the overall tonality is brighter and more vibrant with the off-white background tending more towards pure white and the yellow forehead more towards peach in the original. Condition: This work is in very good condition. There are extremely faint rub marks to all four extreme corners. There is a light handling mark to the centre of the left edge. There is a minute pin size media accretion to the bottom left hand corner and one towards the upper centre of the left hand edge. Close inspection reveals a very small and extremely fine hairline crack towards the centre left of the top overturn edge. No restoration is apparent under ultraviolet light.
