Condition

Colours: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is brighter and more vibrant, with the orange hue tending more towards true red in the original. Condition: The work is in very good condition and it is securely hinged to the mount by the top left and right corners. The sheet is very slightly time-stained and there are very narrow pale margins of mount discolouration along all four extreme edges. Upon close examination there is a very pale small circular spot of discolouration to the lower left corner. There are very slight handling marks to the top left and right corners, a further small handling crease to the deckled paper edge at the centre of the left extreme edge. There is a tiny nick to the centre of the extreme right edge. Two tiny pinprick-sized media accretions are visible to the top part of the upper left quadrant.
