Condition

The canvas has been relined and there is a patch of card attached to the reverse, lower right, where the new re-lining has been torn (approx 6.inches). There are scattered patches of craquelure mainly to the paler areas of the face and dress. Ultraviolet light reveals retouching to the aforementioned patch, plus scattered spots to the face, dress and elsewhere. Held in a painted decorative composite frame.
