Condition
The panel is flat, stable and even. There is a very small stroke of cosmetic retouching just above the girl's head to the left of the work and a spot of retouchign to the lettuce to the right of the work. There are two small marks to the paint surface (one in the hair of the girl standing, the other on the right forearm of the girl sitting) and the varnish layer is slightly uneven, otherwise the work is overall in good condition. The varnish has yellowed over time and could be removed to enhance the appearance of this work. Held in a plaster moulded gilt frame.
