Condition

The following condition report was kindly provided by Simon Parkes Art Conservation, Inc.The canvas has never been removed from its original stretcher, and the paint layer has probably never been cleaned or varnished. One is certainly aware of the milkiness of the paint in the hair, but overall the condition is perfect, and it will respond well to reframing and a light cleaning and varnishing.
