Description

  • cabinet only 93cm. high, 112cm. wide, 35cm. deep; 3ft. ½in., 3ft. 8in., 1ft. 1¾in.
with a balustraded galleried top with brass bobbin turned finials, above two frieze drawers, the central cupboard door inlaid with an architectural pediment surmounted by seated cherubs with clubs, enclosing three drawers, above Solomonic columns flanking Mary, flanked on either side by three drawers with a further three drawers below, the whle inlaid with animals in landscapes and galleons at sea within scrollwork borders and ebonised mouldings, the sides inlaid with a diaper within strapwork, on inverted tasselled feet, on a later walnut, ebony and ebonised stand, on pierced scroll supports joined by iron stretchers
