31-cm square brass dial, engraved silvered chapter ring with Roman numerals signed Symon van Leeuwen Amsterdam, foliate pierced hands and engraved silvered alarm disc, apertures for day/day-sign, date, moonphase, moonday, tide, foliate engraving between cherub and crown spandrels, five pillar movement with anchor escapement and trip repeating Dutch quarter striking on two bells, alarm on the large bell, walnut veneered case with flat moulded top above foliate pierced frets, glazed door with fluted brass capped pilasters, straight trunk, long moulded door with oval brass lined lentincle, moulded rectangular base with cross veneered panel, moulded plinth raised on ball and bracket feet
