of ovoid form with asymmetrical cresting, the front lavishly set with diamonds, rubies, emeralds and other stones with a raised central section part-enamelled, the border of openwork foliate motifs set with gems, a fringe of pendant pearls, the cresting set with diamonds and fringed with pearls with a floral pin set in a coiled spring, the reverse with enamelled design including a bird amidst flowers and foliage

Catalogue Note
