18k, gilt movement engraved overall with geometric motif, lever escapement, calibre 1868, three-arm one minute flying tourbillon mounted in a titanium carriage, 76 jewels, adjusted to heat, cold, isochronism and 6 positions, mono-metallic compensation balance, gong repeating by means of two hammers activated by the slide, silvered matte dial, Roman numerals, aperture for year, four subsidiary dials indicating date, day combined with 30 minute register, month combined with 12 hour register, moon phases combined with constant seconds, massive ciruclar case, sapphire-crystal display back, 18k IWC buckle, case, dial and movement signed.

Accompanied by the original fitted  marquetry box  inlaid with a vew of the town of Schaffhausen, outer cardboard slip case,  with tie tags, service booklets, guarantee card, and two copies of the promotional literature, 1868-1993 125 years To Develop a Single Watch.

Il Destriero Scafusia was introduced by the International Watch Co. in honor of their Jubillee Anniversary. The Il Destriero Scafusia was produced in a limited edition of 125 pieces and was amongst the most complicated watches to be developed by the firm. This model  involved 750 parts and incorporated 21 displays and functions.
