Archaeological-Revival Gold Lion's Head Pendant-Brooch, circa 1880

Designed as the head of a lion gripping a bar in his jaws which suspends an amphora with key-fret handles decorated with gold wirework and the word ROMA, the reverse with "innocenti" within a wirework oblong, gross weight approximately 53.6 dwts.
