of mokko form with a rounded raised rim, carved, pierced and inlaid with a tennin in iroe taka zogan of gold, silver, copper, and shakudo, the Buddhist angel playing a drum above breaking waves in gold nunome, the snowcapped peak of Fujiyama in the distance, signed with kao of Watanabe Toshiaki, and dated manen saru chushu (August 1860); fitted wood box
