A Maori greenstone pendant

hei tiki, of stylized form, the rounded torso and shoulders beneath the head, turned to the left shoulder with heart-shaped mouth baring the tongue beneath circular eyes inlaid with haliotis shell, finely worn holes at the back tip for suspension; deep green surface with dark inclusions.
