  • diameter 5.3cm, 2 1/8in, later fitted Wartski case (2)
with bun-shaped hardstone base, the hinged lid enamelled in translucent rose Pompadour over a sunburst engraved ground, the borders chased with rocaille scrolls scattered with roses
