Following the sale of The Masterpiece Collection in the morning, The Grand Imperial Collection leads our Finest and Rarest afternoon sale with gusto. This extraordinary assembly of breathtaking large formats ranges from Lafite 1983 in Jeroboam through to Mouton 2010 in Imperial. Magnums of La Mission 1990 and double magnums of Latour 2000 vie for attention with Imperials of Haut Brion 1995 and Margaux 1999. Imperials of all five First Growths, La Mission, Angélus and Pavie are offered in the monumental 2005 vintage.
Legendary Lafite, originally purchased direct from the Château, includes a parcel of the 1989 and a case of 1990. Classed Growth Bordeaux from the 1990s and early 2000s boasts Léoville Poyferré 1996, Rauzan Ségla 1998 and Palmer 2000. The Right Bank also features strongly with Vandermeulen Cheval Blanc 1947 and Cheval Blanc 1982 in bottle and magnum.
A stunning DRC collection features Richebourg 1993, Romanée St. Vivant 1996 and Richebourg 2006 to name a few. We are also honoured to present an important collection of DRC from the 1970s, with rarities including La Tâche 1972, Richebourg and Echézeaux 1975, and Grands Echézeaux 1977.
