Sotheby’s Geneva is delighted to announce its first exhibition of contemporary jewellery, design, and contemporary art - to be held from the 31 January to 2 February. Our galleries at rue François Diday 2 will celebrate the intertwined worlds of design and jewellery and art, with the exceptional participation of leading names in these fields : Eliane Fattal, Louisa Guinness, Elie Top and Philippe Cramer.
The selling exhibition will include Eliane Fattal’s stunning jewellery creations, which re-imagine classical styles to complement the modern woman’s lifestyle, and showcase contemporary jewellery pieces by Elie Top, who launched his own line after working for Yves Saint Laurent and Lanvin.
The gallery will also play host to a selection of artists’ jewels curated by Louisa Guinness, including pieces created by Anish Kapoor, Jeff Koons and Claude Lalanne, as well as remarkable contemporary design pieces by multi-talented Geneva-based artist and designer Philippe Cramer. Furthermore, we will offer creations by Claude Vassal, Willy Guhl, Johann Loetz Witwe, Marcel Breuer and many other icons of 20th and 21st century design.
Alongside these pieces, we will exhibit photographs by Sylvie Roche, commissioned for Maria Grazia Chiuri's first Dior show in January 2017, featuring the stunning jewellery by Lalanne.
Completing the show will be works by artists including Yves Klein, Victor Vasarely and Adolph Gottlieb.
