The sale will see over 563 lots of Bordeaux wine with 119 lots of First Growths: 58 lots of Lafite, 13 lots of Latour, 20 lots of Margaux, 16 lots of Mouton-Rothschild and 12 lots of Haut-Brion. Of particular note are significant parcel quantities of Château Lafite, Carruades de Lafite, Château Calon-Ségur, Château Duhart-Milon and Château Pontet-Canet that will be on offer. Over 112 lots of Burgundy including the most sought-after producers such as Domaine Romanée-Conti, Domaine Armand Rousseau, Domaine Comte Georges de Vogüé and Domaine Leroy will also be available.

A notable highlight of the auction is an impressive selection of spirits featuring rare single malt vertical of The Macallan from 1945-1986.  Another outstanding bottle is the Rémy Martin Louis XIII Le Jeroboam which includes an invitation for four people to visit the House of Rémy Martin, as well as a private luncheon.

Adam Bilbey, Head of Sotheby’s Wine Asia, said, “It is with great anticipation that we kick off 2016 with such an exciting auction. This comprehensive sale has a backbone of the finest Bordeaux including impressive depth from the First Growths. The great names of Burgundy and Champagne are in plentiful supply and we are also pleased to be offering such a rare Macallan vertical and an incredible opportunity to acquire a jeroboam of the iconic Rémy Martin Louis XIII.”
