The two-day Southeast Asian Art sale fetched a total of HK$197 million, setting seven auction records in the category including new price levels for top artists. Adrien Jean Le Mayeur de Merpres’ Weavers led the sale, reaching HK$7.48 million. Increased participation was seen from new markets, among them the Greater China region, strengthening interest in the field and reaffirming Sotheby's dominance in the category.
