The auction achieved a total of $11.5 million and was the highest totaling February sale of Important Jewels held by Sotheby's in New York to date. The sale was led by unique jewels, including a pair of Platinum and Diamond Pendant-Earclips by David Webb achieved $118,750 (estimate $70,000-90,000).
Signed jewels which display the evolution of 20th century jewellery design highlight this sale.
