Our 29 October auction of 19th Century Furniture and Decorative Art achieved 2,391,564 USD. Highlighting the sale was Joseph-Emmanuel Zwiener pair of double door vitrine which sold for 497,000 USD, well above its estimate of 200,000 to 300,000 USD. Also performing strongly, Frederic Schmit desk and cartonnier sold for 149,000 USD, also above the high estimate.
