Sotheby's auction will also feature a brilliantly colorful Fauve landscape by Georges Braque; Picasso’s finest metal sculpture of Sylvette and a rare, lifetime cast of Rodin’s iconic Thinker. Léger’s Purist masterwork Trois femmes à table rouge has been consigned by Madonna, and will be sold to benefit the Ray of Light Foundation in Support of Girls' Education Projects.

Both the sale total and the sell-through rate of 84.5% rank among Sotheby’s highest in this category in recent years, worldwide.
